2014 Another Record Breaking Year for Passenger Traffic

Waterloo Region – 2014 was the busiest year on record at the Region of Waterloo International Airport.  In total 145,508 passengers travelled through the Airport between January 1 and December 31, 2014 accounting for a 4.9 per cent increase over the previous year.

Passenger loads on American Airlines, WestJet and Sunwing have grown significantly, and the number of passengers travelling through the air terminal building is projected to grow through 2015 as the Airport continues to work to attract additional air service.
