Fully licensed and trained drivers
Taxi Drivers and Metered Taxi Vehicles that pick up passengers from YKF are licensed by the Region of Waterloo. The drivers must undergo background checks and training before a license is issued to drive a taxi. Taxi vehicles must pass annual vehicle inspections in order to operate within the Region of Waterloo.
Note: Taxis are available at taxi stand located outside the main entrance at YKF.
