As a part of our commitment to safety, the airport undertakes many construction projects each year. We work closely with our airline and airport business partners to limit disruptions.

2022-23 Construction Projects

Air Terminal Building

Domestic Arrivals Building with two baggage belts
750 seat Departure Lounge
Reconfigure existing building to include: Self-service kiosks and common use airline counters will improve check-in. A third security line will speed passenger screening. And, a new baggage system, with self-service bag drop and expanded sort area will streamline baggage handling.

Airside

Concrete reinforcement of four existing aircraft stands
Three new aircraft stands
Extend runway 14-32 from 4,100 to 7,000 feet pending approval

Groundside

Airport ring road and premium parking lot reconfiguration
1,200 space off-site economy parking lot
