Stockyards at YKF now open at the Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF)
Waterloo Region – Today, Stockyards is officially open for business at the Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF). The newly constructed space features a licensed sit-down dining area, grab-and-go options and retail merchandise located within the departures lounge. A valid boarding pass is required for entry.

Stockyards at YKF brings a world-class dining experience highlighting Waterloo Region’s farm-to-table supply chain.”
Stockyards food, beverage and retail offerings celebrate everything Waterloo Region has to offer. A curated line of products is available for purchase from local suppliers including, but not limited to Big Jerk, Goodvibes Shots+, Horse & Buggy Brands, Poppy’s Bagels, and Snyder Acres maple syrup.
In addition, Stockyards have tasked their team to create two YKF-branded beverages. Roastmaster Chris Johnston created YKF Jet Stream coffee, a light roasted coffee blend with undertones of chocolate and cherry using fair trade Ethiopian bean and Brewmaster Brett Croft has created a light beer with a sweet and dry flavour profile.
“Today marks the realization of a year-long journey to build and deliver an unforgettable passenger experience here at YKF,” said Ryan Lloyd-Craig, Chief Operating Officer of Stockyards. “From the fresh dining experience to the grab-and-go items and retail, all of it is fueled by this community. We are grateful to have access to the best fresh local ingredients in the country and you can taste the difference in everything we offer. The sky is the limit.”
To round out their offering Stockyards unveiled a line of YKF branded apparel at today’s event. The YKF baseball hat, t-shirt and hoodie are now available for purchase in the departure lounge, at Stockyards Brewing in St. Jacobs and online at stockyardsbeverage.co along with the YKF Jet Stream coffee and lager.
